Yet bee colonies are disappearing at breakneck speed. Even a UN report, published in May 2019, classified bees as an endangered species. Among the causes evoked are global warming, parasites, lack of food and the disappearance of bees’ natural habitats, which constantly disrupt the ecosystem. It is therefore high time to come to the rescue of these humble employees, to maintain the balance of our biodiversity.
